The role:

As Paint Shop Supervisor, you’ll be leading a small team of 4 skilled professionals, working together to prepare steel trailers for painting to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing steelwork and mastic joints/seams for the paint process.
• Sanding work between coats and ensuring a smooth finish.
• Overseeing the quality of all work entering and leaving the paint shop.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
• Collaborating with your team to meet production targets and deliver top-notch results.
• Always enforcing and adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements include:

• At least 2 years of experience in a paint shop or similar supervisory role.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of painting processes.
• Ability to motivate and guide a small team, ensuring productivity and quality remain high.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and overtime as required.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing technical and customer support for operating systems. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients.

Duties include:

• Monitoring real-time alerts for hardware, software and security issues and using central monitor software to proactively predict and prevent issues.
• Supporting and maintaining the infrastructure of a Microsoft Hyper-V environment, including VMs, SAN solutions and system applications.
• Completing system checks that include hardware, performance, configuration, asset inventory and database backups.
• Conducting the planning, testing, installation and rollout of system updates (Servers, Clients, Networks, Applications, etc..) on pre-production and production.
• Being a point of escalation for system issues and unplanned faults.
• Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving system faults that fall under 3rd line support tasks and liaising with software/hardware suppliers to resolve issues.

Key skills required:

• 3+ years of IT, Server Support or IT Administration experience providing industry-leading technical support and customer service.
• Previous experience of offering over-the-phone and remote diagnostics.
• Strong analytical skills, enquiring and investigative mind.
• Able to get to the root causes of a problem and communicate this clearly to others.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft OS (Server and Desktop) including Microsoft
• Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy Management.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers (including Hyper-V) and
• Desktop and storage.

Qualifications required:

• Expert-level knowledge of operating systems including Windows and MacOS.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
• Excellent customer support and service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions is a plus.

You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Sage 50 accounts and Sage payroll and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

The role is focused within the remit of bookkeeping up to trial balance using Sage software.

Duties include:

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Daily financial operations, including posting supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, managing accounts payable, creating customer invoices, managing accounts receivable, etc.
• Perform bank/credit-card reconciliations including a factoring banking account and Petty cash accounts.
• Quarterly VAT returns and analysis. (including RTI submission to HMRC).
• Prepare weekly aged creditors reports and process weekly supplier payment runs accordingly.
• Prepare monthly aged debtors reports and provide credit control where required.
• Maintain cash flow forecast for the Finance Director to review.
• Process monthly payroll, payments, journal entries and year-end procedures (including RTI submission to HMRC).
• Manage auto-enrolment pension contributions, submissions and legal returns to the pensions regulator.

Skills required:

• Significant experience in finance or accounting.
• Proficiency with accounting software Sage 50 and payroll.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in data entry.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving techniques within a finance environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm — or can be flexible and can offer 4 day week. 1 hour lunch break.
