Sudbury, a prime spot for recruitment.
Just Recruitment Group opened its first Sudbury office in 1989. It has been a continual story of growth and success. While other Recruitment agencies have closed their offices, we have moved into larger, better equipped facilities to provide a premier service to the large local client base that we have developed.
On any given day we have over 210 Temporary Workers employed, and in our last financial year, which finished on 30 November 2018, we found Permanent roles for over 220 Sudbury candidates.
Nestling in the Stour valley; on the Suffolk and Essex borders, Sudbury has a rich history. Its original wealth came from the textile industry; particularly silk. Vanners Silk in Sudbury was once the largest producer of silk in Europe. Famous fans of the company include the English Royal family and even Michelle Obama. Today, though, employment is to be found in a range of diverse industries. Our client base covers areas such as; Aviation, Precision Engineering, Web Developers, Automotive, Defence, Financial Services and Medical supplies.
In the world of art, Sudbury is often associated with two classical painters, Constable and Gainsborough; stalwarts of Classical conservatism. More recently, a Sudbury born artist; Maggi Hambling, has been accused of creating Britain's most controversial piece of art; The Aldeburgh Scallop.
Although creative, the marketing team at Just Recruitment are not seeking to be controversial nor do they expect to be national treasures, but they have created Spotlight on Sudbury, a collection of videos showcasing our fantastic Sudbury team.
