Always use a trusty chimney starter. You can use firelighters, natural oils or the ones with chemicals but personally I like to use a bit of newspaper…
So, you have your grill going. Let's get the steak ready... Nice and simple here with the standard ingredients of Oil, Salt and Pepper. You don't need to go mad on this one, just enough to get a nice coating and impart some of those lovely flavours.
Now that your steaks are marinading and your BBQ is up to temperature you need to give it a good scrub. This is now a lot easier due to the fact the Weber briquettes burn hottest when they are lit, just before they get that nice grey coating of ash, and all the remnants from your last cook are burnt to cinder.
With your grill set, your coals ready and your steaks marinaded to perfection... Let's get cooking. Remember to let the barbecue do its thing here.
Finally, we are set, everything is done and the steaks are well rested. Carve your wondful smokey tender steaks and enjoy.
