Just Temps is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Machine/Production Operative to join a company at its Hadleigh facility.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm (shift pattern).
Job description:
You will be responsible for various tasks in the production process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing line. This role involves manual handling and requires a valid driving licence due to the location of the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking products and materials.
- Assist in the assembly, production, and packaging of goods.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
- Valid driving licence and reliable transportation to commute to the location.
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work either the morning (7am to 3pm) or afternoon (3pm to 11pm) shift as required.
