To be considered for this role, you must have a Counterbalance Licence (valid and in date) — previous experience is required.

This role can be busy and varied, you could spend all day in the yard or moving goods or stock checking and unloading or loading of trucks.

Hours:

Salary:

• Warehouse £13.05 - overtime after 37.5 hours £18.56 per hour.
• Warehouse nights £13.44 - overtime after 37.5 hours £18.56 per hour.
• FLT rotation £15.61 - overtime after 37.5 hours £20.15 ( £14.11 per hour if less than 37.5hrs).
• FLT Nights £15.83 - overtime after 37.5 hours £20.15 (£14.33 per hour if less than 37.5 hrs).

Shifts:

• 8.00am to 4.00pm.
• 4.00pm to midnight.
• Midnight to 8.00am (Sunday night to Thursday morning).

Key Roles:

• Forklift / Manual Handling Equipment (MHE): Responsible for operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse machinery to move goods efficiently and safely.
• Warehouse: Engage in manual handling tasks including unloading, sorting, and moving heavy items. This role requires regular lifting of heavy loads, so candidates should be physically fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate MHE equipment (if qualified) to move and stack products.
• Perform manual handling duties, including heavy lifting, sorting, and loading/unloading goods.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
