Just Recruitment is working with an innovative business, looking to recruit an E-Commerce Manager, to join their team, based on the outskirts of Colchester.
The key purpose of this role is to lead their global E-Commerce strategy. This is an exciting role to help shape the future of this company. You will be a team player as well as being self-motivated to strive for improvement across the business. You will also be highly organised and capable of managing a dynamic workload, whilst relishing working with internal and external stakeholders.
Key duties include:
- To oversee the rollout of the company’s Shopify platform on a global basis. This will involve the launch of around 12 new markets in 2025
- In addition, the firm is looking to expand its presence on Amazon and some other online marketplaces
- Building on the E-Commerce strategic plan, focusing on setting realistic revenue targets and objectives
- Working with existing distributors to clearly understand their E-Commerce requirements
- Managing and owning the digital marketing strategy including SEO, PPC and Social Media — including managing external digital agencies
- Analyse usage, traffic and sales data and make strategic recommendations
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
- Direct and meaningful experience with E-Commerce platforms, ideally Shopify and Amazon
- Practical experience in the configuration and build of E-Commerce platforms — ideally you will be able to undertake at least the basic configuration processes
- A good understanding of the challenges of the global expansion of the company’s E-Commerce strategy, including meeting localised legal requirements, currency issues, language and localised fulfilment
- Ability to build a global digital marketing strategy designed to drive sales
- A good understanding of digital marketing techniques including SEO, PPC and Social Media integrations
- Ideally, you will have experience working with other online sales channels and marketplaces such as Amazon, Rakuten and Flipkart
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or B2C product marketing
- Excellent analytical and financial skills
- A keen creative eye and attention to detail
- A team player
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
This role is office-based from Monday to Thursday — with the ability to work from home on a Friday.
Full-time working hours: Monday to Friday.
Due to the company's location, you need to have access to your own transport.
