Just Recruitment is working with a growing transport/logistics business, based on the outskirts of Colchester—looking for a proactive and driven 'Sales Executive' to join its well-respected team.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have sales experience, preferably within the transport/logistics sector.

The key purpose of this role is to drive business. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the rapid growth of the customer base.

You will be working closely with the Managing Director and the local senior management team on the continual growth of the company—through the management and expansion of a portfolio of customers to improve market position and achieve financial growth. Previous experience in driving sales is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building a strong new business pipeline of opportunity, which incorporates the growth of company services, and offers excellent revenue opportunity and margin growth
• Developing a comprehensive database of prospects on the CRM system, which includes a full record of upcoming tenders over the next 3 to 4 years to ensure new prospects and opportunities are actively managed
• Maintaining a full understanding of all services, procedures and standards offered by both the company and its competitors to ensure business can be gained and value added at every opportunity, operating within a contract and against agreed terms
• Building and maintaining key customer relations by arranging regular face-to-face meetings to ensure the highest levels of customer service are being provided throughout the customer's life cycle, resulting in increased revenue
• Preparing clear, concise and accurate reports both monthly and on an as and when required basis for sales to be measured against organisational strategic targets
• Working alongside the sector Managing Director and local senior management team to prepare and deliver accurate sales tender documentation, including detailed presentations and quotes for new and existing business to negotiate and close business deals to increase business growth
• Meeting individual targets set to provide support in meeting both annual Company and Group targets

Due to continued growth and succession planning, Just Recruitment is recruiting for a CNC Turner, operating CNC Lathes to work a double day shift for a company based in Braintree, Essex.

Scope:

• You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC sliding head machines.
• Loading and running programs through prove out according to the tools list and works instructions.
• Producing a valid first-off component in line with component drawing and quality requirements.
• Loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities.
• Conducting in-process inspection, checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards.
• Completion of QA records.

Skills:

• Capable of programming Fanuc CNC machines. (Specific robot program training/operation will be given to the successful candidate).
• Capable of selecting the correct tooling and setting the machines as required to produce quality components by reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• We will consider transferable skills from grinding or milling to CNC turning.

Hours of work: Rotating early and late shifts.

Earlies
Monday to Thursday: 06.00am to 14.00.
Friday: 06.00 to 13.00 (37 per week).

Lates
Monday to Thursday:14.00 to 22.00.
Friday: 13.00 to 20.30 (37 hours per week).

Just Temps is seeking a Machinist / CNC Setter / Operator for a company based in Braintree.

This is an immediate start ongoing role!

Hours: 8am to 4pm, must be flexible.

Role responsibilities include:

• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Working with cast resin, steel, brass, aluminium and plastic.
• Generally light work.
• Production work
• CNC and manual turning. Good lathe operator. CNC experience would be a bonus.
• You would be required to be able to set and operate a 2 axis CNC lathe and manual lathe by following a setting sheet.
• Occasional machining of pancake cable assemblies (counterbalance set up). Training will be given for the right candidate.
• Working in an air-conditioned room with air replacement system and local extraction for production work.
• Repair tooling to engineering drawings useful, not essential.
• Perform pillar drilling, tapping, polishing, cleaning and other tasks as required.
• Occasional setting for others eventually if trained.
• Some inspection of incoming goods and tooling.
• You must clean down the machines and work areas at the end of the day.
• You must ensure tips/tooling is maintained and replaced as required. Tooling is held on-site in stores.
• Must have a good work ethic and be flexible due to the fast-paced environment and changes in priorities.

Role requirements include:

• Jobs and demand vary from day to day as set by the tool room supervisor.
• CNC and manual turning. Good lathe operator. CNC experience would be a bonus.
• Ability to work under your own initiative.
• May be asked to help with some simple handyman tasks.

• Perform pillar drilling, tapping, polishing, cleaning and other tasks as required.
• Cleaning down machines and work areas at the end of the day.
