• Responsible for managing and effectively establishing customer accounts within the region/customer base.
• Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
• Asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
• Answering questions about products or the company.
• Responsible for following up leads, answering sales calls and responding to enquiries through to order placement.
• Effectively managing customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, with the Product Management team and factories as appropriate.
• Accountable for following up on all sales leads and customer quotations.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques.
• Accurately maintaining records on area and customer sales for region/customer base.
• Responsible for carrying out all other associated tasks to ensure the effective and efficient running of the sales team.

Experience/skills required:

• At least 2 years’ business-to-business direct sales experience preferably in the tools / PPE / sector.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Target-driven with a desire to succeed.
• Can-do attitude with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-confidence and self-motivator.
