Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the Company’s outbound logistical requirements are implemented correctly and efficiently, whilst upholding the standards of the business, maximising productivity, and ensuring service delivery of the highest level.

Duties include:

• Preparation of orders for vehicle movements
• Communication with other internal departments and external warehouses for order picking or delivery requirements
• Co-ordination of external transport hauliers
• Assessing and evaluating service provision required
• Raising warehouse picking orders from internal software
• Confirming delivery schedules
• Confirming vehicle types/service required
• Booking all delivery requirements with each supplier

Key skills criteria:

• Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
• Working knowledge within a Logistics environment
• Proactive with an eye for detail
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Sound organisational abilities
• Advanced computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
• Approachable manner
• Proven customer-facing experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00pm to 5.00pm.

Duties include:

• Co-forklift driving
• Forklift maintenance
• Loading vehicles
• Unloading vehicles
• Positioning of stock
• Picking and packing of orders
• Providing facilities assistance as and when required
• Performance of daily duties in a professional and responsible manner
• At all times be respectful of your immediate colleagues and work effectively and efficiently as a team to achieve an end goal

Key skills required:

• Proven experience in a Warehouse environment

Hours:

Monday to Friday, either on early shift (6.00am to 3.30pm) or late shift (7.30am to 5.00pm) with flexibility in hours required and ability to stay late if and when necessary.
