We are working with a well-established business, looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a full-time permanent basis on the outskirts of Beccles. This is a great opportunity to join a fabulous, long-standing team with a positive work environment.

The key purpose of this role is to handle goods within the warehouse, ensuring they are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying delivery documents, and checking for discrepancies in quantities or damages.
• Storing products in designated areas, ensuring they are properly labelled, scanned and stored in an organised manner.
• Performing inventory controls using scanners or computer systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Accurately picking cartons according to customer orders, packing them securely for delivery, and loading them onto delivery vehicles.
• Using warehouse equipment such as Very Narrow Aisle trucks, Counter Balance, Reach, Power Pallet forklifts and hand pallet trucks to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Working as part of a team to complete tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

This role does include some manual handling and requirement to undergo further training for some of the specialist equipment – you need to be comfortable working at height!

Hours:
• Working hours are Monday to Friday – 8am – 5:30pm, and due to the business location you need to have access to your own transport and free, secure parking is provided.
