Commercial Gas Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer, ideally based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area, to cover East Anglia. Candidates based in Cambridgeshire will also be considered.

Our client, who manufactures specialist equipment for the refinishing industry, is looking to recruit a Regional Service Engineer to support customers in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and parts of Essex. The duties will be to carry out routine servicing, including filter changing and breakdown repairs on a wide range of the company’s units. You will require a good level of fitness and ability to work at heights. Occasional call-out cover will also be required for a local key customer.

Key requirements:
• Must have a full driving licence.
• Must be Gas Safe Registered, ideally with CoNGLP1 PD COCN 1 CIGA 1 CDGA 1 ACS accreditations.
• Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering background required.
• Experience on gas/oil burners.
• Self-motivated and innovative individual required.
• Ability to use initiative and excellent customer liaison skills required.
