Part-Time Yard Operative/Fitter

We’re working with a lovely, well-established business on the outskirts of Sudbury, who are looking for a part-time Yard Operative/Fitter to join their long-standing team on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the team with deliveries.
• Picking, preparing and packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Loading, unloading and safely moving stock around the yard and warehouse.
• Managing goods in and out of the business, ensuring stock is handled accurately and efficiently.
• Travelling to customer sites to fit products, with full training provided.
• Occasionally staying away from home when required.
• Handling and lifting heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Although this role is based on a 16 hour week, more hours may be available for the right candidate, as well as an enhanced pay rate if you are out fitting products.

This is a long-term opportunity, with the opportunity to progress.

Due to the company location and nature of the role, you must possess a full UK driving licence.

This role would suit someone looking for flexibility, with the ability to offer flexibility in their working hours.
