Maintenance Engineer

Just Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and expanding company based in Witham to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer.
The key purpose of this role is to work autonomously, and as part of a small team, to undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs of our processing machines.
You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as: Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing front-line maintenance support to the shift operations team
- Keeping machinery working to the designed output efficiency
- Electrical, instrumentation, and Mechanical fault finding
- Assisting in dismantling and re-assembling all production equipment
- Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works
You will also require a flexible approach to the working hours to help meet operational demand and support the needs of the business.
Hours: 7.00am – 4.30pm.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
- Track record of electrical fault finding and ideally knowledge of PLC’s
- Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage
